Community Game Nights

  • Kingsland Community Association 505 78 Avenue Southwest Calgary, AB, T2V 0T3 Canada (map)

We're trying out a new event! Come play games with us!

We’ll be hosting two separate game nights at the Kingsland Community Hall in October:

  • Family Night - October 10 from 6-9PM

  • Adults Night - October 11 from 7-10PM

Bring your own games to play or choose from the games we will have available for everyone to play. We will have a cash-only concession available each night with snacks and drinks for purchase. We will also have a selection of alcohol available for purchase during our October 11 Adults Night.

Game Night Rules

Bringing Your Own Games

You are welcome to bring your own games to play at Community Game Night and should feel free to share your game with others if you are comfortable doing so. The Kingsland Community Association is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of personal board games at Community Game Night. If bringing your own games, you are doing so at your own risk.

Please bring games that are appropriate for a community event. X-rated games are not allowed.

Playing Our Games

The games available at Community Game Night will either be board game rentals from a local board game café or from our own personal collections. We ask that you please ensure that all game pieces, cards, instructions, game boards, and boxes are returned in the same condition they were when you opened them up.

Behaviour and Etiquette

  • Be respectful of each other and be kind! Bullying, threats, and harassment will not be tolerated.

  • Be respectful of the games you are playing. Please don’t bend cards or break pieces.

  • Limit your group to one game at your table at a time so that everyone has a chance to play.

  • Be careful with food and drinks at the table. Make sure your hands are clean when you are gaming and if you have a spill at your table clean it up as quickly as possible.

  • Once you are done playing a game please make sure you have all the pieces, put it back into the box, and return it to the board games table for someone else to play!
