Current Employment Opportunities with the Kingsland Community Association:
Ice Rink Flooding and Maintenance Person
We are looking for a seasonal Ice Rink Flooding and Maintenance Person for the 2022-2023 winter season to maintain our two outdoor ice rinks at the Kingsland Community Hall. The workload for this role is weather dependent (generally the more snow, the more work). This is a temporary, part-time, contract position, with community volunteers available to assist as required.
Requirements
No experience required, however experience with flooding, clearing, and maintaining outdoor ice rinks would be considered an asset
Available for evenings and some weekends, as necessary
Comfortable working outside for several hours
Some heavy lifting required, as well as work on slippery surfaces
Offered Wage: $25/hour

In addition to the above position, we are looking for volunteers to help with clearing snow, making ice, and maintaining the rinks. Work typically happens in the evenings and we are happy to teach you all that you need to know.
